Truffle Hunts

Tallaganda Truffle Hunts are usually offered through June, July and August. We're only one hour from Canberra and just 30 minutes from historic Braidwood. Monty, one of our mighty truffle hunters, always enjoys unearthing the 'black gold'!

                   

Hunts at Harold's Cross can be followed by a delicious truffle- inspired lunch at one of our participating cafes, in the NSW heritage-listed town of Braidwood.

Hold Fast Distillery & Cafe, is Braidwood's very-own distillery. It's housed in the restored, award-wining, heritage building, 'Troopers Rest'. Offering amazing, locally-made gin, vodka and whiskey, they also serve beer, beautiful local wines, mock-tails and coffee from Fish River Roasters in Bathurst.

Provisions Cafe is a wonderful French-style cafe serving delectable, sweet and savoury galettes and crepes and of course, bubbles and coffee!
